What will the weather be like?

Mountain weather is unpredictable but INCREDIBLE! Expect sunny skies, but be prepared for a quick afternoon shower. Temperatures usually range from the mid-60s to mid-70s during the day and cooler in the evenings.

What is the attire for the wedding events?

BUT what will I wear? (grinch reference) …We’ll specify soon!

Are kids welcome?

We love your little ones, but we are keeping our day-of festivities an adults-only celebration.  We can’t wait to be the “much deserved evening” that you all need away!

If my children are traveling with me, will there be things for us to do?

Yes, Copper Mountain is full of activities for all ages. Please see Copper Mountain Resort suggested activities.

Is there transportation to and from the wedding?

No. Everything is walkable within Copper. If you choose to stay outside of the Copper Resort, you will be responsible to get to and from the wedding. Parking information is available on the Copper Mountain Resort page.

HOW SHOULD WE PREPARE FOR THE ALTITUDE?

Check out the preparation guide here on tips, tricks and how to get ready by clicking here!

When should I arrive in Colorado?

We say “save the weekend” in hopes that everyone is able to come relax and enjoy our happy place in any way you can! We will be hosting our events on Thursday and Saturday!

How do I plan for the DENVER INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT?

Please keep in mind this airport is ALWAYS doing construction & security lines and shuttle services to and from the rental car lots- should be accounted for arrival and departure times.

Do I need to rent a car?

Copper Mountain is about 1.5–2 hours from Denver International Airport. While shuttles and rideshares are available, renting a car is the easiest option if you’d like to explore the area before/after the wedding.

  • Please note: the Rental Car Center at DIA is OFF-SITE which will add approx. 30-40 minutes getting to and from your flights!

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

We ask that you arrive 30 minutes before to assure you are up the gondola, seated and ready for the festivities to begin.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We kindly ask for an unplugged ceremony—phones and cameras away so everyone can be present. Our photographer will capture it all, and we can’t wait to share the photos with you afterward!

Will the ceremony/reception be indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony will be outdoors with mountain views  followed by a reception inside the lodge (with plenty of windows to soak in the scenery).

Do I need to take the gondola/ski lift to get to the ceremony & reception?

Yes, our wedding is at the top of Copper Mountain with the only access being via  scenic gondola or ski-lift.

How do I get down?

All guests will be required to down-lift via the gondola!
